Learners all have different learning styles, learning preferences, and multiple intelligences. It is important to have different types of activities to help different groups of learners each time. Furthermore, LESLLA learners have different learning styles than we do. They learn well when:
- they have to perform the tasks for their family or community;
- the tasks are relevant, meaningful, and/or interesting to them;
- the activity or materials used are concrete (e.g., using real objects, field trips, hands-on projects, guest speakers).
